My name is Joey Chandler and I am the Director of Children’s Ministry at The Well. I have been leading the Puddles Ministry since April 2008. It has been amazing to see God work through the lives of the children and our volunteers.
Puddles Children’s Ministry provides a full Sunday School program during the 9:00am church service. The children are separated according to ages or grade levels.
All teachers and volunteers at The Well have been screened with a background check to ensure the safety of our children. Puddles uses the “Hands On Bible” curriculum by Group Publishing. Each Sunday the children have the opportunity to learn about God and His great love for us. They have lots of fun doing Bible based crafts and activities.
Currently we have child care available for children birth to 6 years old during the 11:00am church service. Any elementary kids attending during this service will get to enjoy “big church” with their families in the sanctuary.
We are presently planning a mid-week program for the children and I look forward to sharing more about that with you once it’s all worked out. A Vacation Bible School is also in the planning stages for Summer 2010.
